Compact Joint - 48F and 144F (OP001-08)

The Compact Joints primary application is for jointing optical fibre cables together at cable element level. The joint is ideal for use as a Cable Chamber Joint, Track Joint or Spur Joint due to its capacity and compact size. It is available in two sizes, of 48 fibre and 144 fibre maximum splicing capacity. The splice trays are factory fitted and each tray can accommodate up to 12 spliced fibres. A multi-functional bracket is supplied with the joint (aerial joint) which enables wall or pole mounting of the joint vertically or horizontally.


Compact Single Circuit Joint (OP002-11)

The Compact Single Circuit Joint allows the termination of up to 96 fibres (4 fibres per tray). The joint is available with either 6 circular ports or 1 oval port and 4 circular ports. The enclosure allows the insertion and storage of continuous fibre loops both within the splice trays and within the dedicated fibre loop storage facility at the rear of the enclosure (Limited to small loops. Oval port base version required)


ESDF4 In-Line Joint (OP004-06)

The ESDF4 In Line Joint is an underground joint suitable for direct burial and underground chamber applications. It is used for the jointing and branching of optical cables, and has a total capacity of 72 fibres. The joint is supplied with six splice trays each able to accommodate up to 12 fibre splices. Cable Entry Glands, Splice Protectors and Mounting Brackets are ordered separately to suit the application requirements.


Compact Node (OP005-07)

The Compact Node is used for ready access applications within the external optical fibre network. It can be used where Sirocco Blown Fibre cables are required to be installed and spliced within the joint (either to cables or Blown Fibre cables), and is pre-fitted with a pressure relief valve, to prevent accidental pressurisation during Blown Fibre installation.


Modular Jointing System – MJS-CP (OP010-09)

The Modular Jointing System (MJS-CP) is used for access applications within the external optical network and can be used for track, spur and loop applications. It can accommodate a wide variety of cables such as loose tube, central loose tube, ribbon and blown fibre. The modular tray system is designed for positive fibre management for Single Circuit Management (SCM) and Single Element Management (SEM), and the splice trays can accommodate a variety of different types of splice protectors and splitters.


QuickDrawXS Connectorised Lead-in Joint (CLJ) – MK 3 (OP025-05)

The QuickDrawXS CLJ MK 3 is a purpose built customer access termination that allows the rapid and incremental activation of customer services utilising simple practices. The CLJ allows the plug in connection of up to 8 individual customer lead-in cables at the time of service activation. The CLJ is designed to be cascaded on a single distribution cable for optimised network design and can be used in all types of PON and PTP network configurations.


Resin Filled Joints (OP026-07)

The Sirocco Resin Filled Joints provide a cost-effective jointing system for Blown Fibre networks. The resin is supplied in a 2 part bag which ensures that the resin/filler mixing is undertaken in a safe manner. The typical cure time for the resin is 30 minutes. The range joints are designed for in-line jointing or multiple spur-offs to smaller tube count cables. The joints are designed for Day 1 installation or retro-installation resulting in maximum flexibility to a Blown Fibre network. Full Material Safety Data Sheets are available and included in the relevant CIG’s.


32 Customer Distribution Joint (OP028-01)

The 32 customer Distribution Joint is a multi purpose joint that can be configured for a variety of different network configurations. The joint is used to distribute external network fibres to the customers premises via blown fibre tube cables. The joint has 38 tray positions and can accommodate single element and customer locking splice trays. The customer locking splice trays contain several coils of transport tube around the tray to lock the blown fibre units to prevent movement at the splice. The joint can also accommodate splitters and splitter assemblies of 1x8 or 1x32 configurations.


RetractaNetXS TBE-I2 Tapping Box (OP031)

The RetractaNetXS TBE-I2 Tapping Box is used to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line Retractanet cable into drop tubes, for routing to a customer premises. It is UV resistant and sealed to IP68, enabling it to be mounted in the outdoor environment.


RetractanetXS Cable End Seals (OP035-02)

The RetractanetXS cable end seal is used on RetractanetXS cable ends to provide water tightness and tension relief at the point of a splice closure entry port or a PoP building wall entry.


Universal metallic joint closure XOK (OP041-01)

The XOK universal joint closures are designed to provide water and pressure tight environmental protection for optical fibres and optical fibre splices regardless of the cable design. Application ranges from aerial, duct to buried installations. The closure has anchoring points for strength members and facilities for earthing of metallic elements. The splice organizer trays offer holders for heat shrink splice protectors and sufficient space for storage of spare fibres. The closure is easily assembled and re-entered.


FDN - FTTH Distribution Node Joint (HT001-08)

The FDN - FTTH Distribution Node Joint is primarily used for the distribution of optical cables / blown fibres in both aerial and underground optical fibre networks. The joint is oval in shape, medium in size and offers high flexibility due to the cable entry options presented by the joint base. The single base configuration offers 58 round cable ports and one oval port for loop through applications. The joint cover is fitted with a pressure release valve and the cap / base is sealed with an “O” ring and clamp mechanism.


FST - Small Size Fibre Joint (HT002-08)

The FST - Small Size Fibre Joint is primarily used for local distribution of optical cables in both aerial and underground optical fibre networks. The joint is circular in shape, small in size and offers high flexibility due to the cable entry options presented by the number of joint base options available. The base configurations offer 3, 10 or 12 round cable ports together with one oval port for loop through applications. The joint cap and base is sealed with a rolling “O” ring and clamp mechanism.


FRBU - Mid Size Fibre Joint (HT003-09)

The FRBU Mid Size Fibre Joint is primarily used for local distribution of optical cables / blown fibres in both aerial and underground optical fibre networks. The joint is circular in shape and compact. The base configuration offers 8 round cable ports together with one oval port for loop through applications. The joint cover is fitted with a pressure release valve and its cap / base is sealed with a rolling “O” ring and clamp mechanism. Cable entries can be sealed using either mechanical cable entry kits (CablelokTM) and/or heatshrink sleeves.


FML - Large Fibre Joint (HT004-10)

The FML - Large Fibre Joint is primarily used as for the distribution of optical cables / blown fibres in both aerial and underground optical fibre networks. The joint is circular in shape, large in size and the base offers 12 round cable ports and also one oval port for loop through applications. The joint cover (available in 4 different lengths to suit) is fitted with a pressure release valve and the cap and base are sealed with an “O” ring and clamp mechanism. Cable entries can be sealed using either mechanical cable entry kits (CablelokTM) and/or heatshrink sleeves on any of the ports.


UFC - Universal Fibre Joint (HT005-10)

The UFC - Universal Fibre Joint is a high capacity enclosure primarily used for local distribution of optical cables / blown fibres in both aerial and underground optical fibre networks. The joint is circular in shape and offers high flexibility due to the cable entry options presented by the joint base. The single base configuration offers 28 round cable ports together with two oval ports for loop through applications. The joint cover is fitted with a pressure release valve and has its cap and base are sealed with an “O” ring and clamp mechanism.
