Riser Boxes

Riser Box - 12 customers (WM013-06)

The Riser Box is designed for use within apartment blocks and mid/high rise office blocks. The unit houses a single integral splice tray, and allows fibres from an in-line or butt Blown Fibre tube cable to be spliced up to 12 customer drop cables. In cases where Blown Fibre tube cables are to be used for the customer drops, bulkhead tube connectors can be fitted to the unit.


VertiCasaXS Bend Managers (AC020-03)

Verticasa Bend Managers are used to control the bend radius of the 5mm Internal Verticasa Drop Tubes. The bend managers simply clip around the drop tube to ensure that when the tubes are installed, the radius of the bends does not go below 15mm. This eases fibre installation where long drop lengths and multiple bends are present, and also ensures that the fibre bend radius is not compromised.


VertiCasaXS Secondary Manifold (AC024-03)

Verticasa Secondary Manifolds are used to drop fibres from a multi fibre tube to multi fibre or single fibre tubes. The secondary manifold manages the bending radius of the fibres to 15mm. There is an entry port for an input multi fibre tube of 5mm in diameter. There are drop ports for three multi fibre tubes of 5mm in diameter, and four single fibre tubes of 3mm in diameter.


Verticasa Mechanical Splice Holder (MSH) (WM024-05)

The Verticasa Mechanical Splice Holder (MSH) is mainly used for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or office fibre cabling system’s. The unit is suitable for splicing together up to 2 fibres (either small cables or Verticasa ESFU’s). Both heat shrink and mechanical splices can be used with the MSH. Cables of up to 6mm in diameter can be accommodated.


VertiCasa Internal Transition Box (ITB) (WM025-08)

The Verticasa In-line Transition Box (ITB), is mainly used for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or office fibre cabling system’s. It is a compact splicing box enabling the splicing of up to 4 drop cables to a main in-line cable. The ITB houses a single splicing tray. It is available in two versions, one for 12 and 24 fibre Verticasa cables and one for 48 fibre Verticasa cable.


VertiCasaXS Breakout Unit – 4 Port (WM026-09)

The Verticasa Breakout Unit – 4 Port is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line Verticasa cable into drop tubes, for routing to a customer premise. It has the capacity to accommodate Verticasa cables of up to 15mm in diameter. It enables a window to be cut in the cable to access the fibres, which can be spurred of into drop tubes of 5mm in diameter. Up to 4 drop tubes can be accommodated.


VertiCasaXS Cable Protection Cover (WM027-07)

The Verticasa Cable Protection Cover is typically used in multi dwelling units or office fibre cabling systems. It is used to cover and protect the window cut in a Verticasa cable. The unit can accommodate Verticasa cables of up to 15mm in diameter.


VertiCasaXS Top Loop Box (WM034-07)

The Verticasa Top Loop Box is a secured box allowing the coiling of extra lengths of Verticasa fibre modules. The box does not contain any splice trays and is used purely to coil the overlength of fibre modules at the top of a Verticasa riser cable. The box is wall mountable and is for internal use. The box enables one cable of up to 15mm to enter.

The Verticasa Breakout Unit – 1 Port is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line Verticasa cable into a drop tube, for routing to a customer premise. It has the capacity to accommodate Verticasa cables of up to 15mm in diameter. It enables a window to be cut in the cable to access the fibres, which can be spurred of into a drop tube of 5mm in diameter.


VertiCasaXS Breakout Unit – 8 Port (WM042-03)

The Verticasa Breakout Unit – 8 Port is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line Verticasa cable into a drop tube, for routing to a customer premise. It has the capacity to accommodate Verticasa cables of up to 12mm in diameter. It enables a window to be cut in the cable to access the fibres, which can be spurred of into a drop tube of 3mm in diameter.


Riser Box Multi Tray (RBMT) - 24 customers (WM045-04)

The Riser Box Multi Tray (RBMT) is designed for use within apartment blocks and mid/high rise office blocks. The unit houses either eight splice trays, or 4 splice trays and a module storage area. Each splice tray is able to accommodate 8 fibre splices. An in-line cable entry port enables the box to be installed onto an in-line riser cable and up to 24 drop ports are available for drop cables of up to 5mm in diameter. The inner tray module can be moved from left to right enabling the riser cable to be installed into the box on either the left or right hand side.


VertiCasaXS Mini Branching Unit (WM052-05)

The Verticasa Mini Branching Unit is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line Verticasa cable into a drop tube, for routing to a customer premise. It has the capacity to accommodate Verticasa cables of up to 9mm in diameter. It enables a window to be cut in the cable to access the fibres, which can be spurred of into drop tubes of 3mm in diameter (8 positions) or a drop tube of 5mm in diameter (2 positions).


VertiCasaXS Mini Riser Box (WM053-03)

The Verticasa Mini Riser Box, is mainly used for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or office fibre cabling system’s. It is a compact splicing box enabling the splicing of up to 6 drop cables of 2.6mm diameter to a main in-line cable. The Mini Riser Box houses a single splicing tray.


VertiCasaXS Storage Box (WM056-02)

The Verticasa Storage Box is used to coil and store over-lengths of Verticasa fibre modules. The box can be used at the top of a vertical riser cable or on the end of a horizontal cable run. The box has a single cable entry for cables of up to 15mm in diameter. The box can be supplied configured for either internal or external use and can accommodate up to 225 metres of 900 micron fibre modules.
