Multi Dwelling Unit Wall Box (MDU) (WM008-06)
The Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) enables the distribution of optical fibre within a residential building / business dwelling. There are two standard sizes of MDU available to cover a wide range of applications. The units can house various passive optical splitter modules, between 1x2 and 1x64, which cater for a large range of capacities for up to 480 customers (dependent upon building construction).
External Customer Splice Box (WM014-10)
The External Customer Splice Box is designed for use on the external wall of residential or small business premises. The unit houses a single splice tray and allows fibre from externally fed cables (Blown Fibre or standard cable) to be spliced to pigtails for connection to adapters. Patch-cords are routed through the external wall fabric into the premises via a rear exit port. The unit can also be used as a transition point between internal and external cable (or ruggedised pigtails).
VertiCasaXS Mechanical Splice Holder (MSH) (WM024-05)
The Verticasa Mechanical Splice Holder (MSH) is mainly used for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or office fibre cabling system’s. The unit is suitable for splicing together up to 2 fibres (either small cables or Verticasa ESFU’s). Both heat shrink and mechanical splices can be used with the MSH. Cables of up to 6mm in diameter can be accommodated.
Internal/External Distribution Box (WM029-05)
The Internal/External Distribution Box is designed for the splicing of optical cables in either internal or external applications. There are three units available - 48 fibre, 96 fibre and 144 fibre all of which are wall mountable. The units are designed for splice only applications using 12F cassettes. The cassettes are hinged for easy access during splicing and maintenance. The units have multiple cable entry points for cables ranging from up to 18mm. The unit is supplied wit a lockable hinged door and a rubber seal providing an IP rating of 55.
Internal Splitter Node (WM050-03)
The Internal Splitter Node is an internal wall box typically used in large MDU’s, for the connection of customer drop cables to a building cable, via an optical splitter/s. The unit can accommodate up to two splitters of up to 1x32 configuration. The wall box is supplied with 17 double splice trays, where each tray has a separate splice tray within it for customer segregation. This provides a total capacity of 34 splice trays, with two used for splitter input connections and the remaining 32 used for splitter output connections.
6FDP Customer Distribution Wall Box (WM054-04)
The 6FDP Customer Distribution Wall box is a wall mounted product used for the distribution of fibres to up to six customer drop cables. Each customer has an individual splice tray that can house up to four splices. The box also has the added feature of a built in figure of eight routing system, that prevents fibre movement when aerial input cables are subjected to ice and wind loading. The unit is supplied with a gas/water block for the input cable. The box can be supplied as an internal product supplied in white or an external version supplied in dark grey with an IP55 rating.
LDWB - Large Distribution Wall Box (WM055-05)
The Large Distribution Wall Box is a wall mounted splice box used for the distribution of fibres to customer drop cables. The unit has a capacity of up to 240 fibre splices and can accommodate input cables of butt, loop and in- line types. Up to 48 customer drop cables of 3-6mm in diameter, and 8 customer drop cables of 6-12mm in diameter, can be distributed from the box. Drop cable ports are provided on both top and bottom faces of the box and top and bottom manifolds provide easy routing of fibres within the unit.
Medium Distribution Wall Box (MDWB) (WM060-01)
The Medium Distribution Wall Box is a wall mounted splice box used for the distribution of fibres to customer drop cables. The unit has a capacity of up to 168 fibre splices and can accommodate input cables of both butt and in- line types. Up to thirty two customer drop cables of 3-6mm in diameter, and four customer drop cables of 6-12mm in diameter, can be distributed from the box. Drop cable ports are provided on both top and bottom faces of the box and top and bottom manifolds provide easy routing of fibres within the unit.
