Low Voltage Cables

OVERVIEW

Prysmian offers a comprehensive range of electrical equipment for a voltage range of 50–1000 V for AC and 75–1500 V for DC. The cables can be flexible or rigid and the material varies from PVC to LSFH (low smoke, halogen-free).

Hassle-free and inventive, we tailor our extensive portfolio to meet the specifications/standards of markets or customers.

Prysmian group's low-voltage cable solutions for energy networks are produced at the Delft factory site. This is also the head office of Prysmian Group in the Benelux. Here our engineers work on cable solutions and they are also produced. The cable solutions produced here are for various markets such as: power distribution, residential and non-residential construction, industry, data networks, telecom infrastructure and road and rail infrastructure. In addition, the Delft location offers a variety of support in different areas such as engineering, project management & installation, after sales, diagnostics and training. As a result, Prysmian Group distinguishes itself by offering a total package of solutions and possibilities.

For alternating current, Prysmian Group's low voltage cables are designed for use with voltage between 50 and 1000 V. For direct current, the cables are designed for use with voltage between 75 and 1500 V. Prysmian Group offers various solutions for conductor use, so it is possible to produce the conductors of both Copper and Aluminum. The cables can be produced in a configuration of 3 or 4 cores with or without auxiliary veins. In addition, a distinction can also be made in the flexibility of the cable, both flexible and rigid cables can be produced. The insulation of the low-voltage cables can vary, for example we offer PVC, XLPE and LS0H insulation.

Prysmian Group works according to the CSR guideline ISO 26000, which proves that Prysmian Group integrates social responsibility into its business operations in accordance with the principles of ISO 26000. Prysmian Group is the pioneer in the field of cable solutions in sustainability and circularity, among other things with the eco-friendly P-laser cable and with a self-developed circularity approach. This approach consists of all phases of the cable life cycle: Design & Raw Materials, Production, Transport, Installation, Use and End of Life. At every stage of this cycle, measures can and will be taken to improve sustainability. This could include reducing the CO2 footprint and increasing the share of recyclable materials.
